Welcome to InjuriesBoard.ie's online Application process. This allows Claimants to complete the Application process online.
Claims involving Minors (those under the age of 18) or claims from the dependants of a person fatally injured in an accident are not submitted on line. If this claim is on behalf of a Minor please click here. If the claim is for the dependants of a person fatally injured in an accident please click here.
To complete your Application the following must be submitted to Injuries.Board.ie
- Fully completed Application form
- Medical assessment form from your treating doctor (Form B)
- Payment of the €50 application fee.
This entire process can be completed online. This process will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Once you commence the application process online, you will be asked for basic details of your name, address, date of birth and email address. Once this information has been input, you will receive, via email, your User number and password enabling you to return at a later date to complete the remainder of the application process.
Please note you will have the opportunity to review the information you have submitted and make amendments as necessary before you submit your Application.
When all sections of the Application Form have been completed online and submitted by you we will send you an email outlining the next stages of the process.
It is important to note that your Application will not be complete and the process of assessing your claim will not begin until we have received a fully completed Application Form, your medical assessment form and payment of the processing fee. Your medical assessment form and a cheque/postal order in payment of the processing fee can also be sent to InjuriesBoard.ie, P.O. Box 8, Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
In most instances, the time limit within which you can bring a claim is strictly limited by law to two years from the date of the accident. Your completed Application should be submitted to InjuriesBoard.ie at the earliest possible date. Failure to submit a completed Application within two years of the date of the accident may affect the outcome of your Claim.
Note on Payment
We can accept payment of the €50 application fee online or if it is more convenient for you, you can make this payment by sending a cheque to Injuries.Board.ie, PO Box 8, Clonakilty, Co. Cork or by phoning our Service Centre at 1890 829 121 from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday to process a credit card or laser card payment.
